Sydnie Anderson

President & Founder

The idea for Helping Hands OV began in late 2019, when Sydnie—then a single mom—struggled to find the time and money to take care of simple household tasks like mowing her lawn. One day, a kind neighbor unexpectedly stepped in to help, and that small act of generosity sparked the vision for what would grow into Helping Hands OV: a community built on neighbors helping neighbors.

Sydnie holds a B.A. in Public Relations from Sacramento State and has a professional background in PR and marketing. Her passion for service started early—she’s been a volunteer with the American Diabetes Association since the age of three.

Outside of her work with Helping Hands OV, Sydnie is a proud boy mom, a dog mom to two pups, and an active member of her community who enjoys local events and finding ways to lend a hand. Her dedication to lifting others up continues to be the heart of Helping Hands OV.

He received a B.S. In Business Administration: Accountancy Option from CSU, Fresno. He also serves on the non-profit boards of the Kiwanis Family House and the Kiwanis Clubs of Orangevale-Fair Oaks and Citrus Heights, providing Helping Hands OV with more opportunities to work together in serving our community.
